Chinary Ung (born 1942, Takeo, Cambodia) is a composer currently sleep in the United States. When arriving around the United States in 1964 to study a clarinet, Ung studied composition by owning Chou Wen-Chung and Mario Davidovsky. Ung is noted for combining traditional Combodian musical elements by having american instrumentation. Ung presently teaches at a University of California, San Diego.
